ACHIEVEMENT GOALS AND STRATEGIES

Based on the objectives set, the targets of the Master of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Trunojoyo University, Madura are grouped as follows:

  1. Increase in the number of new students
  2. Strengthening the governance of academic structures and curricula
  3. Improvement of research fields
  4. Increased community service activities
  5. Increased human resources
  6. Improvement of facilities and infrastructure
  7. Improved Academic Atmosphere
  8. Increasing and developing cooperation

To achieve these targets, the following achievement strategies were developed:

1. Increase in the number of new students

  • Increased promotion and socialization of the Master of Accounting Study Program
  • Developing a collaborative network related to scholarships for students
  • Improving the quality and competency of graduates

2. Strengthening the quality of governance of the academic structure and curriculum

  • Restructuring and developing an adaptive and critical curriculum.
  • Preparation and improvement of curriculum (syllabus, SAP, GBPP), as well as teaching materials.
  • Preparation of academic guidelines.
  • Preparation of guidelines for preparing a thesis.
  • Preparation of Study Program Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Accelerated graduation period of 18 months.
  • Increasing the quality and quantity of guest lectures with speakers from experts or practitioners.
  • Evaluation of the learning process

3. Development of Research Fields

  • Increasing the competence of students and lecturers in research.
  • Training to increase the competency of students and lecturers in writing scientific articles.
  • Increase in the average amount of Lecturer Research funding in a year.
  • Training to increase the number of articles by students and lecturers in the National Scientific Forum.
  • Increase in the number of student and lecturer articles in non-accredited national periodic scientific journals (ISSN).
  • Increase in the number of student and lecturer articles in accredited national journals.
  • Increase in the number of lecturers who receive grant funds from Dikti
  • Increase in the number of students and lecturers who receive grant funds from outside Higher Education.

4. Development of Community Service Sectors

  • Community service in the form of community outreach
  • Community service in the form of counseling to students
  • Socialization or delivery of material and sharing knowledge to agencies or institutions related to forensic accounting

5. Development of Human Resources

  • Developing lecturer competencies in the form of training, workshops, short courses, discussion forums, seminars and professional certification
  • Improving lecturers’ abilities in learning techniques
  • Increase in the number of lecturers who have the rank of Associate Professor and Professor
  • Increasing the quantity of students admitted to the accounting master’s program with a simple selection process (English language test and internal academic potential test)
  • Improving the quality of student admissions to the accounting master’s program with a strict selection process (TOEFL test and OTO Bappenas academic potential test

6. Development of Facilities and Infrastructure

  • Increased comfortable lecture rooms with LCD, CPU and AC facilities.
  • Study program and lecturer management room with internet network facilities and air conditioning.
  • There is an internet network (hot spot) in the campus area.
  • Representative faculty program reading rooms and university libraries
  • Integrated Academic Information System (SIAKAD).
  • Utilization of E-learning in learning.
  • Improved information and communication (SMS Gateway)

7. Improved Academic Feel

  • Increased scientific activities (guest lectures, seminars, workshops, training, etc.)
  • Increasing the quality and quantity of scientific activities locally and nationally
  • Requires students to take part in scientific activities in the field of accounting
  • Encourage students to write scientific articles in accredited national periodic scientific journals (ISSN).
  • Improved administrative services
  • Improved internet access services
  • Improved reading room services

8. Improvement and Development of cooperation

  • Increased collaboration with stakeholders
  • Increased collaboration with foreign institutions
  • Increasing educational and research scholarship networks for students
  • Establishment of the Master of Accounting Study Program Alumni Association
  • Alumni Network Optimization
